ben use an OEM filter, they're 5$ and work great. also buy a new crush washer with every oil change.




in other news:

yup from the dealership. $5 and change, but a lot better quality than some shitty fram filter from wallyworld.

 

whenever my buddy with a welder has some free time...hopefully this week, i want it outta my apartment haha. the red (or to PA/NJ people pink) crossmemeber has to be welded on, then the bumper gets bolted to it.

but he just had a kid a couple months ago and a couple days ago someone blindsided him in his TJ, so idk if he'll have time soon.

 

that crossmember gets taken off, then the new one gets welded on....the crossmemeber was designed with the bumper.

 

if you care about gas mileage at all now, stop.

i used to get ~20 when my truck was stock.

now with MTs and a good bit of armor, i normally see ~16-17.

 

all my stuff is tube...

rear bumper probably adds like 40 lbs, sliders 60, front bumper 40 lbs, full bud skids 90... it adds up haha

 

n if you get buds, i highly recommend reinforcing the belly pan before you put it on... mines bent to shit

 

not really sure, i land on my sliders and skids way too often though.. they've definitely paid for themselves haha

 

my bud touches my case with how it is now...i need to straighten it out as much as I can then reinforce it

 

all pro and skid row are the only others i know of. with all pro you have to run their bumper, and the skid row is a 3 piece set instead of 2 like buds
