Its in the plans to get the TRD Cat-back Exhaust. I think it sounds the best. Does anybody have another suggestion?

Also, I really like this exhaust exit... (thanks roxspin72)

What you think? Can I have the stealership make it exit like that?

EDIT: This is to be accompanied with the TRD CAI. What kind of gains, hp and torque wise do you think I will see between the two?

    Thanks.

Are there any benefits warranty wise by sticking with TRD?

hmm... not sure what the implications of the TRD exhaust are... probably the same as the Flow, but ya never know..

if the exhaust breaks, it's not covered

    I honestly have no idea.....

You'll have to do some searching (use the search button in blue bar) to find other threads about the performance and/or benefits when coupled with CAI.
I personally didn't buy the exhaust for performance. I wanted the 'sound' benefit (these trucks are too damn quiet). There are soo many different types of exhausts available to you - do some searching (search google also).

Whatever you're looking for - check the prices on this website. This is where I got my Flowmaster for a damn good price and free shipping. http://www.wundercarparts.com/searc...r=Flowmaster&gclid=CPL_jIylopYCFQNfFQodbQxz5w

    Oh Yeah!!!
TRD & Borla are both sold through the Dealership, does not void warranty.

The picture you have posted of mine is the Borla. It is full catback and thats the way it exits the vehicle using all factory hangers. No modification, direct Bolt on.

I personally like the sound better than Flow Masters. And the quality of the exhaust is better, but more expensive of coarse.

To each his own. Go to you tube and listen to the different setups and choose from there. As far as warranty, depends on company, and install. The only way it will break is if you do some hard offraoding.

How do you like the borla? I was just gonna go TRD because my intake with be TRD but if borla is sold through the dealership too I would look into that? When I log on to the borla site it says they don't make a kit for my truck.

I like the Borla. Went with it purely because it was a stainless Steel set up.

Performance, no diff. Slight if any. Sound was a definate plus, but more improved upon w/headers and Y-pipe.

You can save money and go with a welded on muffler like Magnaflow. I heard JHODGE's set up and it sounds good.

Only diff would be spending more for the stainless piping.

You will enjoy either way, just depends on Budget.

Would I see any difference in performance if I put an exhaust on my 4 cylinder Tacoma?

IMO, I really like my stock quite and not annoying. however if I were to choose I'd get either magnaflow or gibson SS. Leaning more towards gibson bc not really overwhelming loudness, just right.

I bought that Flowmaster dual exhaust from a fine gentlemen on this board and it should be arriving today! I can't wait to get it on, all the pictures on here of it look freakin great!

As for performance, with a CAI AND exhaust I would say maybe 8-13 hp only.. it's not like putting those same items on a factory turbocharged car and raising the boost like 3 psi where it would net you like 40-50 hp. :D

I see many of you guys talk about just getting a magnaflow muffler, but is there a specific model number for the muffler?
