    Hello All:

I've been reading and lurking for many months, learning from the vast knowledge on the forum.

My search for the right tacoma was long. I was first locked into a 2011, then waited for the 2012, but moved on to thoughts of a certain rwd car. That requires a winter vehicle in MN, and so I considered the 1st gen. This one seemed perfect, and since taking it home I've realized this will be all the vehicle I need - with some mods, of course.

Here she is on the day I picked it up, basically stock, but for that sun visor.

Even though this is my first post, I greatly appreciate this community. Thanks for all the help, past and future.

Nice looking truck, good thing about buying a 1st gen is more $ for mods and less towards monthly payments. Welcome.

    Thanks all.

Right. Somehow I've got it figured that a good lift, wheels and tires, etc., on this 1st gen makes good financial sense.

I've had my eyes on a new RT Classic Challenger. I've never been a car guy, but fairly drool over these and the thought of their 370 horses. I won't get one until spring, if I decide to then. It'd be a pretty good partner to a beautiful 1st gen.
