iphone batt problem due to ios5

If you are having problems w/your battery due to the ios5 install got to the settings of your iphone and turn off the time zone feature . You will be amaze.

Go to the location settings and scroll all the way down and tap on system services. Their you will find the time zone feature.

I keep a charger at work and in my taco but I'm going to try it with the time zone off

 

I just turned location services off but I will try turning the time zone off

 

Some people are having problems w/their phone's eating up the battery power allot quicker than b4 it was installed. Apple is working on an update http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/tec...5-has-battery-some-problems-promises-fix.html for this,but I found if you turn off the time zone setting it makes a world of difference.

 

I work outside so I have to depend on my battery lasting most the day. I do carry a charger in the truck but cannot use it like I want.

 

It's not all phone's. Weird

 

I'll give it a shot. I don't think mine is that bad, but I use it a lot, so my battery gets chewed on for most of the day.

Turning off the time zone feature has helped me w/my phone. I don't know if it will help all phones. The features I have always left off have been push notifications,wifi,(only turn it on when I need it)brightness turned down and have turned off allot of location services to different apps.

 

Apple has acknowledged the problem, it check location way to often, running your battery done. IOS 5.0.1 update coming in a week or so. Supposedly.
