    that was the origional plan, but if you read back a couple pages you can see that paypal is messing with me, just shipped out the lights that they asked me to do so im waiting fot them to unlock my account

    I think the percentage when its not sent as a gift is 3.3%, correct me if im wrong, I haven't recieved money in awhile.

    Perhaps some moderator can put up a sticky in the group buy section about the cost of using paypal and what happens when a bunch of folks try to send money as paypal "gifts." 97yota isn't the first guy this has happened to - JLee had a similar but different experience on the diff skids.

    It sucks to allow roughly an extra 3% on the cost (which is roughly how much pretty much any merchant typically has to pay on credit-card transactions by the way) - but it sucks even more to have some TWer set up a sale on razor-thin margins and then get stuck out-of-pocket for that cost.
