Thinking of selling my truck to get something bigger. I want to stay in the Toyota family so it looks like I am gone go with a Tundra. I love my taco but its just to small. How much do you guys think I can sell this truck for????

Now, its a 2006 TRD OFF-ROAD SR5. It has 63,000 miles on it. I just installed brand new BFG All-terrain tires. I only used synthetic oil and toyota oil filters. The truck has been babied since day one. It has been garage kept since brand new, washed every weekend. Waxed every two months.
Few extra things that I added to the truck are:
    1). Tint windows
    2). K&N air intake
    3). Wicked Flow muffler
4). WeatherTech floor mats front and back
    5). TRD seat covers
6). Hella High Performance Blue Bulbs
7). Nokya Eurostyle Yellow light Bulbs
    8). Bed extender

Question is How much can I get for this truck????

    Here are some pictures. Thanks.

I got my truck last year, 2006 Access cab TRD Off Road with 63,800 miles, stock. Almost exactly the same, except I have an auto. I paid just under 18k. on the west coast. I had to drive to Oregon to get that price. Couldn't find anything similar in price around CA while i was looking.

NADA's clean retail came out to $22,100.00 it sounds high to me.
    KBB came out at $18,500.00
Post it at $19,000.00???????? Will there be a buyer for it?????Thanks

Just put it up and give er a try... Can't hurt. If you get no bites, than your price is probably a little high

I just traded my 1 owner 2006 Tacoma 4x4 DC SR5 w/ same miles as you for a 2011 Tundra.
The dealer (Acton Toyota in Mass) gave me 17500.
It was not a TRD like yours & the tires needed to be replaced, was clean but not nearly as nice as your truck.
I took everything off the truck & sold it all here & locally CL made another 2k.
I cashed in my extended warranty for it did nothing for the dealer.

I tried for a while to sell on CL w/ the warranty & two sets of tires, cap, lots of extras and it wouldn't move. Got a lot of lookers but no one will $$.
My last listing was for $17500 & no buyers thus the trade in.

It was so much easier...except for the take off parts/sales but am glad I did it. Love the tundra.

$17,500 dealer trade is not bad. Usually Dealers give you nothing. I am gone try the dealership and see what happens. Thanks

i'd normally suggest Harry Klause in OC because he gives such high trade values but Toyota is running 0% @ 60 months or cash back deals right now for the Tundra and Harry doesn't use Toyota financing so you'd have to weigh out the rate he'd give you with that trade vs. the dealer trade/private sale and their crazy financing deal.

make sure you list it in delaware, philadelphia and central NJ craiglists. you know how people are around here - people were flaking on me for a NIB Tacoma cold air intake that I was selling for half the new price, lol. one of the common sites, like autotrader or cars.com guarantees the sale or you don't pay for the ad. at least they used to.

    good luck!

That is a beautiful taoma, very clean and low miles. I would list it for $21K. A friend of mine is going to be selling his 06, exact pkg as yours with 35k miles. always garaged and it has every stock option you could get in 06, like new truck, he wants $25K and already has some co-workers interested in it. But here in Central Cali they go for top $$$

That truck looks very clean- do not settle for anything less then "full" value, or the top end in your area. Values are holding strong for the Tacoma. The only negative is the 6spd for some, but again, there are guys out there looking for this exact set up. Be patient, if you have time and wait for the buyer to come. Remember, its hard to find a true "clean truck", and it seems you have one. Good luck! ;)
