unknown bolts

    Hi, I just got my truck back from toyota, they did the transmission mount TSB. When I was looking at the new mount I found 4 bolts that where loose, almost falling off. There are 2 on each side, passenger / driver. I attached a picture. Can someone tell me what they are for, and why would they leave them totally unscrewed almost falling off. I tightend them down.

    Those bolts are for the frame crossmember sub asembly. They should have been tightend propperly. Had those come out, your tranny would have dropped to the ground, causeing God knows what kind of damage to your truck. If they are still loose, TIGHTEN THEM ASAP. Call the dealer in which you had the work done, and let them know they suck.

    WOW I can't believe that. All four of the bolts, two on each side, the nuts were all the way at the end, I only tightened them so I didn't loose the screws incase they were important. Well that scares the shit out of me, if it wasn't Sunday I would be headed to the dealership. Yeah I tightned them as much as I could.

    Oo yeah here is the pic of the new transmission mount. And by the way it did nothing for my vibrations while deaccelerating..
