2011 NCAA Football Thread

So after further review the game of the century was a shitacular crap fest. IF you want to see that as a rematch for the MNC then you hate college football and America.

 

I knew LSU was going to win.

 

And as I predicted....our OVERrated team dropped a huge one, same ole Carolina.

 

And Bulldog Nation really appreciates that.

 

Should be pretty amusing. Can't wait to hear their excuses and finger pointing as to how so and so this and so and so that lost them the game.

Couldn't get the breaks but if they had a half assed kicker they would have won. Not defending them, just an observation that I'm sure many would agree with.

 

And don't forget, they have already mapped every possible way for them to reach the NC game, (and could). If so and so looses, we win out and, the stars line up just right, and with Uncle Bills lucky autographed program from 1970...

 

I'm a big stanford fan/supporter and I'll be the first to say LSU or Bama would make mincemeat out of the Cardinal.

 

LOL! Get back with me after you guys play LSU for the title & you might not be thanking us.......personally i hope you whoop em but I highly doubt it.

 

To allow that creep to molest little boys is as guilty as doing it yourself. And Jo pa he didn'y follow up on it either..

 

To each his own, I prefer a hard fought game. Ground and pound with great defenses then again that's what wins Championships... defense that is.

 

We still gotta beat AU first, and Murray hasn't played good in a big game for the most part.

I'm not expecting to beat them, but want to see just how far apart we really are. If we can play a complete game with our WR Mitchell back healthy hopefully and have the whole team in the game then maybe we will surprise people by making it a game. Either way it's good for the team imo, you have to beat the best to be the best so it would be a good chance to see how we stack up and something to build on going into next year. Basically I'll be happy to be there, just hope we keep it close and not get blown out.

We've gotten so much better since that game imo. I think Richt coached "conservatively" in that game to get a feel of the team. But all I'm saying is that we haven't had a highly ranked team since the first two games and won't until the SECCG, so it should be good for the team to get a feel of a big game. If you keep playing mediocre teams you'll stay mediocre imo, so it's good to play a top team. In the recent past we've played down to competition. I want the chance to play up to it. Our schedule was soft this year, at least for an SEC schedule anyway. I never said we'd beat them, but that is why you play the game.

 

Still gotta beat Auburn...but, I'll be OK with it, no matter how badly we lose to LSU if we get to play em. I don't expect to go to ATL and win. The west is better than the East, and we all know that. I would LOVE to ruin their NC hopes by beatin em in the SECCG. And, on any give Saturday, anything can happen. (Not sayin I think it WILL, but it CAN.)

Luckily he didn't say we were the best. He said to be the best, you've gotta beat the best. We still won't be the best team in the nation if we go to ATL and beat LSU. But if things keep goin the way they're goin, we would be the only team able to say we beat em, and right now they are the "best" team in the nation. Like I said, I'd LOVE a rematch with BSU. It might end up the same way, but I don't think it would be as bad as the last one was (it was a lot worse than the 14 point difference on the board.)

 

I hope you guys walk all over AU........I was born in Augusta,Ga.....so I am a secret Bulldog fan, living in Columbia.

 

I didn't figure Bama would fall far after that one. I could see Oklahoma beating OK St and have a Bama/LSU rematch.
