About to order OME's, wonder if anyone can recommend a good shop to install.

SDHQ is also top notch quality work.

 

Just under $1400, parts, labor, tax out the door. Which is what he quoted over the phone, and was lower than any other quote I got in town. 4 Wheel Parts was a couple hundred higher, and that was with an add-a-leaf instead of full OME Dakars, and every other place I asked didn't really want to quote a price for OME's.

 

Didn't call to get a quote from them, but after hours of researching local shops, it seems like they have a pretty steep price list, and I couldn't find a single comment about them working with OME's. I'm a fan of NOT being the guinea pig, I like routine. I know these kits all follow the same very basic mechanical principles, but I just makes more sense to go where the experience is, and I'd be hard pressed to believe there's a shop in town that does more Old Man Emu installs than Sierra Expeditions.

 

id say sierra...i went into desert rat a few weeks ago and talked to their staff proclaimed 'tacoma specialist.' i know fairly little about suspension, and learned nothing from him...all he did was cite 'the tacoma forums online' (not that there isnt good info here, but idk how much id trust a hands on shop with my truck that cant tell me anything other than to read TW )
