    I work for a generator company here in southern Wisconsin as a home standby generator tester.
    Basically, when the generator reaches the end of the assembley line, its my job to hook it up, run it and make sure that it works the way its supposed to.
    If it doesnt work like it should and its a fix that takes 15 minutes or less, I fix the problem.
    If not, I tag it, push it on down the line and it gets pulled off the line and taken off to the side to be fixed.
    I think its a good job. The pay is decent, there is a fair amount of overtime, the work isnt too physically demanding, its a pretty laid-back place to work and most the people there are pretty cool.
