Im just starting to think that the kabar is just gonna be too big to carry as a hunting knife or camping knife and im just gonna scratch all the black off the blade and itll look like shit

I'm a big SOG fan which yes are generally tactical knives but a good skinning knife is the field pup if you can find an older aus8 model. The NW ranger is a good all around knife. That being said neither are Bowie knives.

My go-to working knife is a Buck 105. Good for game or fish.

esee 4 or 6 and never look back... unconditional lifetime warranty no matter what.

a lot of the kabars are way to thick for practical applications

Lift, tires, toolbox, Alpine H/U, Borla exhaust. Still looking it over to get specifics.
Seems like some of the ones i was looking at throw the "SEAL" stamp on their gear and sell it for a big profit. Ill retract my last post. I have a classic style Buck knife for hunting, and it works well. But i dont know if i trust the blade to never break. The ESEE knives look very solid. Purchase in progress

    Note: Altoids tin pouch idea......phenomenal

You deff won't regret it. I've got the izula, esee 3 and esee 6. The fit, finish, feel, ergonomics are absolutely amazing. I literally said "wow" when I got my first one.

I hate this... people that don't know anything about knives eat it up though

Forgot to mention if you want the best knife for under like $75 go with a mora triflex($25) that is if you can find one in stock some place

Hair popping sharp, and because it's a scandi grind a tard could sharpen it perfectly

Also if you do order an esee knife make sure you are aware what version you are ordering, ie combo blade, clip point, plain blade(the only choice imo), the sheath color, with molle back or w/o
