The purpose of swapping the original lights for these is to light the road better, right? Not just to look 'cool'?

They're to see better in reverse. They will do nothing for the level of coolness of your Tacoma assuming you spend most of your time either parked or in drive. Although, it might help you look less uncool if you drive down a trail that's too difficult and have to back out.

    :D

You never know now-days. People do dumb things that make them feel 'cool'.

I was hoping these were more functional mod than a form mod. Sounds like they are :taco:

I hope they're a function over form mod, that's the whole reason I signed up!

I am interested if the before after shots look convinving. I don't care how bright they are staring into them at night. I care about the throw/pattern.

I don't want to mess with the 88X mods and have 35-50Ws of waste heat.

Why hasn't someone made an SST90 light yet!!?

I got banned for another reason, but it doesn't matter. I'm not really worried about it, it is the internets.

I'm back tho - USPS said they're delivered, but I don't have them..? I'll poke around the office, it says delivered on Friday, but I was out that day.

I haz a rear view cam. I'll take a bunch of pics, before/after, side-by-side (assuming they still work like that), etc.

Assuming I can find the blasted things... Still trying to find them @ the office. I usually have stuff shipped to my office because I know it'll get accepted & not stolen. Grrrr....

    lol @ "the PA system".

The lazy support dept which distributes mail picked up every last piece of mail EXCEPT my box. It was sitting in the "Network Services" bin all by its lonesome.

Crisis averted. I do have a game tonight, but hopefully these go in easy and I can take pics tonight... If not, it might have to wait until tomorrow. Don't lynchmob me please! :p

The only reason I say "might be tomorrow" is I need a second person to take pics. gf is a ringer, but she goes to bed early and will moan (not in the good way) if it's too late. Unless someone else wants to go push in my clutch while I take pictures? :D

Edit - damn, game is later than I thought. Might have some pics soon guys.
