Yeah we get our 50 lb nitrogen tanks filled at cal tool and welding supply and its like 7 bucks for a 50 lb tank and and they won't fill a nitrogen bottle with anything but nitrogen aswell as any other gas or liquid

co2 and nitrogen tanks have different valves due to Nitrogen being an inert gas. Co2 regs and nitrogen regs are the same other than the fitting and the gauges being of different PSI's however

My dad has been a airgas tech for 25 years, i have so much of this stuff laying around it is stupid and he is a wealth of knowledge (already have gone over this stuff wiht him and have 2 co2 regs and adapters sitting on my porch).

Regs run anywhere form 80-150.00 so for the 25.00 buy it. Even if tank is out of hydro its worth it. If the reg ends up needing rebuilt or anything let me know, can probably hook you up.

Thats a good deal, my cousin got a free nitro tank with a reg, it was out of date, took it to a welding shop and they swap it out with a new tank with nitro for the price of a hydrotest and refill.

I have no idea how cali is but when I was getting my tank here I heard a lot about making sure its a user fill. Meaning some of them belong to companies so if they are stolen and re sold shops will not refill them
