    Just for your reading amusement and maybe to give you an idea of what is on the ballot tomorrow; here is a link to the amendments.

    Personally; I support 1 and 10. The rest of them look like hidden ways to raise spending.

    Negative on Number 3. Current college debt is larger than credit card debt and is expected to be the next "bubble" as current students are borrowing their education and do not have jobs ready to pay for the loans once they graduate. We need to cut back what fields qualify for government student loans to the big three (Math, Science, Education) and let the rest of the fields level out in a few years. We'll put an end to these 4 year degrees in English literature that don't pay enough to pay for rent; much less the student loans.

    I got into a pretty good argument at work yesterday with a liberal because she thought college loans should be easier to get. I asked her why you would loan a person without a job enough money to get a house; but they actually don't get anything but a degree for something that doesn't even have a field to practice in. She said she had never looked at it that way.... what fucking way had she looked at it before???

    You and me both! I'm really enjoying my GI Bill right now. Probably the best $1,200 investment I will ever be able to make in my life.
