Have you tried to sell it locally on Craigslist? I see used shells in decent condition selling anywhere between $200-$500 depending on the shell, what it has (lights, special locks, carpeted ceiling, etc...). If I were you I'd list it on CL for $500 (under Tacoma) and see what kind of response you get. You can also list the dimensions for people who have other model trucks. If it's very little or no response then knock the price down to $400 and go from there. Shipping is probably not an option since you can probably buy a new one for the price that it costs to ship.

You could start the pricing higher if you'd like too. It all depends on if you want to sell it relatively fast or if you want to take your time. You might also consider keeping it. A shell can come in handy sometimes AND a locked shell helps to prevent someone from stealing your tailgate and tail lights. Both are pretty easy to remove on our trucks and a lot of people have had theirs stolen. GLWS

Ditto the above. Look at the manufacturer website to find which model it is, then base price. Knock off 30-50% if it's in good condition.

And I think you need a price in the OP, as per forum rules. $500 seems to be about average going price for used. CL might yield better prices.

I would prefer NOT to sell it on craigs list. Had some BAD experiences with it. Its in good condition (maybe few scratches that are hard to see unless you really look, little dirty from playing in the mud, but I am going to wash it once its not so darn cold. It locks perfectly fine and all.. I dont want it on my truck anymore, and once I move there will be no room to put it anywhere. I never go camping anymore sadly so there would be no need for it at this time, but I want one of those flat topper things that covers your truck and not the back window.. (no idea what there are called.)

The "flat topper" things are called tonneau covers. They are fairly expensive new, but you can sometimes find a used one in good shape on TW or on Craigslist. I bought mine on CL a few months ago for $300 (it was even the proper color). It was 2 years old and in excellent condition. If you don't want to sell on Craigslist that's up to you, but you're cutting out a lot of potential buyers in your area and limiting your potential buyers to people on Tacoma World in your area. If you're scared about selling on Craigslist maybe you can ask a friend to help you.

As far as your shell goes it says it's an ATC from your pictures. You might also look for a placard or sticker that has a model and serial number listed.

It has a small metal plate on the top of it inside with a serial number but I have no idea where to look for the model or anything online. Im calling the dealership today to ask them about it and all. I *might* post it on CL later.. but ive had some sketchy deals on there before and with my social anxiety I get freaked out a bit.

Well not the fold up kinds, they're the least expensive thing you can cover your bed with.
Just got mine for $230, shipped and it works great.

    Ebay number: 170694413499

Hauled a snowthrower and then a dishwasher the other day with tonneau folded up, so much easier than having a cap. Oh, check my gallery to see a pic of it installed.
