Hi guys, Have been waiting for black 09 4x4 DC for a while(due to the factory shut down)

I love black Taco so much although its hard to keep it clean, but since Ive been waiting for the black one for weeks, and the sales seems like joking around, just dont want to wait any longer.

I am working in a construction company, the car will be always dirty.
what you guys think will be the best color?

I think whatever you like will be the best option. It's too subjective of a decision.

I voted black, cuz its plain bad ass, LOL, so i am biased. But any of those colors look good, i love the white ones after black and grey and SWB are tied right after that, i think as long as its a Taco, it will look good. Oh and black is way hard to keep clean, have to clean off every sham i use to dry it off to try and avoid swirls as well.

I like the speedway blue, but that is not a color choice in 09. I would have gotten the blue, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on my white tacoma.

I'm suprised black 4x4 is so hard to locate. I know there are gray ones around. I waited about 6 months for my truck, maybe longer. Wanted Indigo Ink but they cancelled it for 09 and those left in 4x with the ops i wanted were all up in NorCal. The gray rocks. Check it out in person if you can. Do a lot of searching online for dealer inventories, most are fairly well updated. I found more trucks than my dealer doing my own searches.

genexer36 where in the world did you find that clip of Dumbsfeld in your sig? That is great!

i voted grey because it looks almost black at night but doesn't show dirt nearly as bad. Plus it's the same color i have. I had a black taco once and stayed dirty and showed scratches too much, the new grey is pretty trail freindly when it comes to scratches.

i love my MGM but a lot of days i wish i got SWB...either one is a good choice. after my black 4runner ill never buy another black car/truck, way to much time spent cleaning it.

I would go with silver. I have had a black truck in the past, way too much work to keep clean. I have a white taco now and it is a little bit better than the black...but my silver taco was much easier to look clean even when dirty...

Thats not a color choice in the 4x4 DC? I just bought a 2009 4x2 TRD DC in speedway blue.

I think the new gray would be nice, but only you can answer whether of not you will regret not getting your first choice....black...good luck

The Gray is popular, I should go take a look today, maybe it will be the one.

One thing to think about is that black is a lot hotter than most colors, especially in so. cal. I lived down there with a black rig and it was hard to keep clean and hard to hide the scratches. It was also very hot to the touch. It seemed that the black made the vehicle hotter inside. I know it sounds funny, but it seem to be true for us. It did look bad ass when I had time to wash and dry it. We have a white taco now and it seems cooler to the touch. I think my buddies silver probably hides the dust best. It looks good most of the time. Just get what makes you happy and what you get the best deal on. Don't be afraid to travel a little for a better deal....
