Valve/Lifter noises

    So I just got a used 99 Tacoma and the V6 motor seems to have quite a bit of valve/lifter noise. Is that common with the V6?

    Black TRD Fj Cruiser wheels, TRD catback exhaust.
    How many miles? Could need a valve adjustment or try running a thicker oil. Sometimes too diffrent filters create valve train noise as well. Im running Mobil One 0W30 with a Mobil One 209 oversized filter. Wth this combo even at startup there is no noise but when i would run 5W30 i get alittle noise for a few seconds. I would try different things.
