    That sucks you bent an axle shaft, do they even make upgraded axle shafts for our trucks? I think it is about 500 miles or so to Reno from here so it may be a strecth to figure out something economical.

    I'm guessing rear axle half shaft, but not sure exactly. I saw the pics of your truck in another thread looks awesome coming right along.

    Good deal, I picked up a set of ATO skids Kevin extended the rear skid for the crawl box approx. 6" or so.

    As of right now I'm almost positive I warped the flange on the passenger side rear axle shaft. I'm going to pull it this weekend and have it checked on a lathe. If thats the case I'll have to find a shaft from a parts truck. Don't think I've seen any aftermarket shafts.

    I'm not really sure, I think so though. I only noticed it after I re-geared but everything points to the flange as of now. I think it might have happened after I ran a canyon here. I was sitting on both of my rear kickouts and the rear tires were wedged in a V/ledge of sort, I also knocked the LR UCA ball joint all the way in on one side and bent the kickout on one side and dinged my door on one side. :D

    Thanks man. Anyway, I'd love those tires but I need to wait and see.

    I was able to get some work done this weekend, I started out on Friday with pulling the stock exhaust and putting on a Doug Thorley header and Jardine catback exhaust. Unfortunately my camera decided it was done about six pictures into the operation so I don't have pics of the exhaust or Safari snorkle that I installed on Saturday. I'll get some more pics posted later this week. I did a trip today and am really digging the exhaust and snorkle there is a noticable difference in the bottom end and I like the way it sounds I will be curious to see how it affects my mileage.

    There is a exhaust manifold in there somewhere...

    Ended up with my GF's Olympus she thought she lost it so I got her a new Cannon for her bday turns out her old camera wasn't lost so its my new camera.

    Thanks, I'll get some better pics up this afternoon. My work schedule has me going to work in the dark and getting home in the dark but I should get off earlier today.

    I started to get a good amount of sediment in the bottom of the airbox intake tube after a year with no fender skirts. I had to do something so a snorkel was the answer.

    I'm liking the DT header and Jardine exhaust although I guess they are the same company cause the muffler is stamped DT but the exhaust tip is stamped Jardine and it came in a Jardine box??

    Here is a cell phone pic teaser of the snorkel I'll post some better ones after work.

    I can snap some pics but it won't show much, there are several ways to make it fit the instructions that are out there are mainly for the V6. I ended up cutting the plastic end on the snorkel at an angle and cut a lot of the rubber boot off then notched it to fit.I was able to use the stock part from the airbox that goes through the inner fender and work it all together for a good fit. Originally I cut the hole in the fender and lined up the snorkel and went WTF this is never gonna work. It took lots of trimming a little bit at time to get it to line up but wasn't too bad.

    I've got 2 more weeks of work left then getting a little time off so the plan is to lock myself in the garage install the crawlbox and drive out in compound low....come on December....
