Okay, So i dont know if any of you have seen the recent commercial for Hyundai's new... 3 door POS... But its literally the most ugly... Thing with a motor ive ever seen. Seriously it surpasses the SSR and the PT and even the new nissan Juke... Look at this disgrace!

I don't mind it. Im always complaining about how americans are fat and waste money on huge cars, so its kind of nice to see these little cars become more popular.

My wife is looking at one of those to replace her 11 year old saturn. She wants something different looking, but that still gets awesome gas mileage. her half hour drive to work means she wants something around 40 mpg highway. They are actually really cool looking in person.

    Just bought it!
Why in the world would you put that 3rd door on the passenger side?? Every time I have to toss something in the back seat of my access cab I open the driver side door, then open the 2nd door to toss it in. If I only had that spare door on the right side of the car I'd alway be getting pissed as I was throwing everything over my headrest knowing there was a perfectly good unused door on the other side.

Third door is on the passenger side because it allows for passengers to get in and out for pick up and drop off. Much better trade off in my opinion. Same reason when rolling with three passengers the third passenger is in the rear right seat 99%, (think kids pick up/drop off at school).

Having to throw something over the headrest is a fair trade off, but I would sooner use the trunk.

    Cheers

Not nearly as bad as the Juke or PT Loser in my opinion. I didn't really mind the SSR that much either. I wouldn't buy one, but it didn't bother me.

I was given a PT once as a rental (only thing they had left) and I figured, well, it's ugly, maybe it'll be comfortable to drive. Nope, at the end of the trip, I have absolutely nothing good to say about that God forsaken POS. Uncomfortable seats, ergonomically retarded, gutless and hideous looking. Sorry for the rant...
