i started back in 96 or 97. i started with a tipman prolite and eventually graduated to a souped up automag. then i realized that type of play just wasn't for me. when everyone has "paint wasters" and go thorugh 400 to 500 rounds a game it just isn't fun anymore....at least it wasn't for me. so i sold the mag and downgraded to a tipman again. personally i like the pump games the most. i like how with pumps you dont take a shot until you have one. but when i was getting out of it mags and cockers were the only way to go. it's crazy how much the game has grown since then

that was me too. last time i played i was killed 5 times but had over 30 welts. when i die i die in a blaze of paint covered glory. i cant tell you how many times i was the runner in capture the flag games. i just put down my gun and run as fast as i could with two "escorts". i got the flag most of the time but i usually died trying to get it back to my teammates. damn i miss that game. we were a sponsored team at one point but we lost our sponsor so we had to quit. that's a really expensive hobby. i only play once or twice a year now but i still love it

yeah, or sponsor was taking care of paint too. that was all we really cared about. there were times when i reffed some of the larger games in our area. we use to have an annual North vs. South game with an average of 150 players every year. that was always fun but living in SC (the birthplace of secession) you can imagine which side won every year....
