    anything "Short Course" related is closer to 1/8th than being 1/10th scale

    That is why some 4x4 Short Course trucks use 1/8th scale motors and ESC because of their weight

    Any one interested in some T-maxx parts? I had a gas 2.5 and I converted it to electric. So I do not need any of the parts that where just for the gas.

    some clever google-fu revealed that there is also a Apache SC listed to on HPI's site updates

    (google HPI Apache C1 and you should find it)

    ^ Ah, nice! Damn I can't wait! looks like I won't be having my Slash for too long... and yea, Hpi makes some of the most durable cars IMO. I swear, my E-Firestorm was indestructible! That's one of the reasons I like the Blitz, it's pretty much a stretched Firestorm.

    the good thing about using the D8/etc platform is that there are a ton of up grades that can be done to the it


    Personally I'm into nitro and all of these recent announcements may get me to convert to electric.

    just picked up an issue of rc car action...

    reminded me of when i went out to so-cal back in 1994, i was all into the r/c off road stuff.

    went an visited alot of tracks in Pomona/Chino/Ontario area.

    i had one of Losi's first buggies.

    made it a point to go to Losi's place of business....then just a small warehouse.

    met Gil Losi Jr and he showed me the warehouse of parts going out and then up to his "test" lab which was a couple of 6 foot tables and alot of tools on a loft in the warehouse.

    its funny now because Gil Losi Jr, now works for Kyosho lol

    Losi isn't what they used to be and it made a lot of RCers pretty mad, that is why they launched the TLR brand

    yeah it is a rustler chassis. but it has the STRC LCG conversion to extend it to the length of a slash.
