Battlefield 3 vs Call of Duty mw3

My buddies that got MW3 said that it was teh most expensive map pack that they ever bought. Just like MW2, with a couple extra things. I'm going to pass on it. Ill save my 60 bucks for add on stuff for BF3

 

Don't forget the subscription charge they want you to sign up for. That's what led me to not even consider COD anymore. I know you don't have to pay to play, but it's a slippery slope of feature creep I don't want to contribute to.

 

Yea man, you aren't kidding. The guys at Gamestop were amazed I didn't want it after their sales pitch.

 

Gonna play it a little more and if it sucks, sell it on eBay. That's the only perk to the popularity of this franchise, easy to sell it secondhand!

 

I have a pre-order for MW3 that should be here in the next day or two for my PS3, but I also want BF3

 

so after getting a few games in of COD last night i must saw they dropped the ball on the graphics. BF3 has them beat hands down in that area but i am liking the game play a smidge more on COD. Both are good games i just think COD could have done a better job on the graphics.

 

Lol Activision reuses graphics and buildings, play the campaign and you will see that big 3 story building from cod4, the one with the wooden room inside where the ladder is.

MW3 is way way better than BF3. I'll give 10/10 on MW3. 8/10 on BF3.

 

there was just way too much hype leading up to mw3, everyone was led to believe it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread. prob also had to do with competeing with bf3. yes the gameplay is the same as mw2 but from cod4 to mw2 wasnt THAT diff either. but why would they change what they already have when they know what they have works? like rollin904 said, COD is more of a arcade-style game, always has been. bf3 is more strategic based, cant just run out with a m4 and expect to kill more than a couple people. i played both mw2 and bf2 prior to the new games, liked both but stick with COD for diff reasons. despite the gameplay and majority of the graphics there are still alot of small differences between mw2 and mw3. i also like how there is much more freedom of what kind of setups i can run with mw3. and if youve read this far i will share one of my favorite new things, hearing the little kids scream into their mic when i kill them!

 

thought i was losing my mind hearing voices whenever i got a kill, later realized my friends were hearing the same voices. so remember, if your playing mw3 and get killed and whine like a bitch, you can be heard!

 

Lol...I have a bad habit of forgetting my mic is on. I curse about anyone who shoots me, can't be helped! I guess I get too into the game haha.

mw3 took a step in the right direction. I like how they have done the weapon upgrade. no more gay ass cod points to buy shit. now you use your gun to unlock thinks. also like how you can choose what order to use your kill streaks

 

Yep the multiplayer maps do look similar

 

i'm no lifing MW3 at the moment
