If I didn't already have a diff cover welded on then I would have signed up for one of these. dang, great protection with that cover.

reroute my y-pipe with 2" tubes getting ready for a flat tcase skid...

also rerouted my exit on my exhaust to go straight back and dump just before the bumper so nothing is hanging down to get flattened by rocks

the mirror adjuster...it's a 12v source....this allowed the cb to only be on when the keys are turned "on"

sometimes here interference when the cb is on and i adjust my mirrors but that's not often

I just wired mine directly to the battery. It's nice to be able to listen with the truck off. It's fused...

the mirror adjuster actually pops right out and you can access the wires from there...then ran the wires underneath my steering column over to my center console where it is tucked in

yea we (me and Jace) thought about this while we were wiring and it's nice to know i can't leave the cb on accident, and the mirror is the least used while i am driving my truck

I thought about that too but the cb draws such a small current, I left it on in my old 85 for 3 or 4 days and it still started... To each their own, I just like the simplicity of not having to splice wires.

I went to the mirror adjustment as well for power. You can have the truck off and the key in the accessory position and it has power. So best of both worlds I think. :)

still got that beastly shackle tumor hanging at the same level...and there's room above so it'll just get pushed up instead of pinched between my bedside and shackle
