No 4 Wheelin In Virginia

I'm I to believe that this is true? I contacted the forestry department for Washington National Forest and was told no on-road 4x4 trail riding. That's it?? end of story?? say it isn't so. All I want to do is bounce down some trails. A little help please.

Linwood, great hookup, thanks for the link. I will be in Gordonsville so it looks like Coal Road and Corzet are the closest. Do you happen to know anything about them?

 

No worries...I have yet to go to those ones. Better look up Corzet though, I think you have to be a member for that one or know a member...

 

i go camping at george washington national park, up by the woodstock tower, see alot of dirt bikes n atvs, never any tacos or jeeps, dont think the trails are wide enough

 

I looked them up and it is a pay 4x4 park with fairly aggressive trails through river beds and rocky terrain. A bit much for my daily driver.

As far as I can tell they do not allow Over the Road Vehicle trail riding in the Washington National Forrest anymore. I think I will check out Cole Rd tomorrow, I believe it's mountain trails.
