I've got a Kawasaki KFX400, and honestly I can go anywhere my 4x4 buddies can go and then some. Sure, you sometimes have to hit that occasional mud hole fast. The light makes it nice, and I like having an actual clutch. It is a really nice backroads cruiser too, especially with my beverage rack out back. Nice and stable, soaks up the bumps, and go's where I need it. Plus, maintenance is a breeze.

It does, I just get the truck out when it snows. It's like a giant 4wheeler.

I wouldn't buy a 2wd truck and I wouldn't buy a 2wd quad. I'm calling bullshit that a sport quad will go where my Rubicon will.

It all depends on what kind of riding you do. Sport quads or "2wd's" are more fun IMO.

I agree with that but to say that a sport quad does what a 4wd quad does is just ridiculous.

the right 'racing' quad would do just about everything I'd like, that being have some family fun in the woods and pull the kids around on a sled in the winter. I've ridden the Polaris 500s and they're awesome. I love my brothers YFZ450 and hated his Banshee, go fourstroke for sure.

gonna have to say UTE quad. grizzly 700 vs a Raptor 700. my friend cannot keep up with my grizzly on most rocky trails. And its not just the rider either, even when we switch bikes, the grizzly is just faster on rough trails. And as an added bonus, i can take stuff with me because i have racks. food, drinks, gear. You can have more fun in more places with a utility quad. thats my opinion at least.

I would say both because they each serve a different purpose

dam i love the old 250rs.

had many of them in my family back in the day.
nice banshee too, whats done to it?
i love to go fast too, me and my dad built a drag yfz450.

over-ride tranny 1-4, 101mm high compression piston, extended ice cube cylinder stroked long rodded, on alcohol and nitro methane. well technically it was a yfz547 :D he also used to have a 250r 4 trax on nitrous, 250r 3 wheeler on nitrous.
also had a 250r 3 wheeler frame with a cr500 engine on alcohol, stroked 9mm and long rodded. he used to love speed.... now says hes too old and his body hurts him:(

    :( no such thing
