Seems TN & NC are popular places to ride. We drove 16h to ride there... well worth it for all the area roads. No other riding pics from down there as we were having too much fun!

I'm kinda surprised to see passenger pegs allowed on the track...track-day organizations I run with recommend either fully-taping them up or removing them (pegs only, hangers are good transport anchors) to avoid having them "spear" into something.

I do actually use them as anchors for stabilizing the back of the bike in the truck!

Never heard of taking them off or taping them up. Been to several tracks & with several organizers and there's a fair amount of prep but none mention anything about rear pegs.

Can't find the picture of me dragging throttle hand...

There are always gear Nazis. I know the risk and I accept the risk I am not a ignorant kid. I have dozens of track days under my belt I choose to ride in a Tshirt when the temps are hot. I don't rag on guys who gear up and I don't expect to get shit for my decisions.

There are squids everywhere. I crashed and my leather jacket saved my skin, my knee/shin guards saved my knees and shins(obviously). I also wear an Icon field armor vest for chest and back protection, A* SMX boots, and Icon kevlar jeans that held up and didn't rip in any spot, just some parts were grinded down and thinner now. If I was only wearing a t-shirt and regular denim w/o knee/shin guards then I would probably have a broken back, lost a lot of skin, lose my elbows, broken knee and shin, etc. Per witnesses, I rolled and slid about 100 feet after an idiot cager made a left turn in front of me. I flew over the car passenger rear side, lucky I didn't go through the window. It must've been a crazy ass scene to witness. I had the right-of-way. The idiot cager didn't see me even though it was a bright summer day... anyway, I wear my gear all the time.

To each their own, but accept that you're a squid and don't post pix of lost skin if you happen to be a victim of an idiot cager.

Its good to know you care about me soo much.

That shit happens I am not going to deny it. I have watched guys go down. I lost friends on bikes. I wont say its right to not fully gear up. But by your logic you should be driving a car. Because a car is safer then a bike.

You concluded that I should be driving a car b/c of my logic? LOGIC. Do you know what the definition of logic is? My logic is regarding using safety gear at all times to be as SAFE as possible at all times while riding a motorcycle. I don't understand your conclusion that my logic means I should be driving a car. ROFL!

Yeah, I tend to agree with this one, if he wants to risk his skin, so be it.....actually, probably makes my nice Dianese gear more affordable. If EVERYONE wore it, then they could charge more..haha

The squids that I cannot stand are the ones doing wheelies and crap down the freeways (or on public roads), then say "cops are unfair and pull over streetbike riders for no reason"...I WONDER WHY, its a handful of idiots that make cop profile us all (not blaming cops, after some of the crap I have seen squids do, I would try to get us all of the streets as well)....way to ruin it for those of us who are not idiots.
