Yeah...Because "free on bail" means he's gotten off scott free while Joe takes it on the chin. The mere appearance of impropriety has ended far more careers than these two...with far less fanfare.
As far as due process goes-In the courts they do. Public opinion is just that...public and opinion. There are no rules.

 

During the investigation 2 officers were in the room & heard sandusky admit to the crimes brought on by the victims mother. I wonder where they are now.

 

Unfortunately public opinion is shaped by the media. And on multiple different media outlets reporting this story I saw polls asking if Joe should retire/be fired. Every single one had a majority saying no. But I guess that's not the public's opinion.

Same police agency that did nothing in 1998 after the first report and swept it under the rug. Not condoning rioting if that is happening (people standing in a street and yelling stuff is not a riot, it's a march/protest). But just saying...

Both University Police and State College police detectives were involved in the 1998 investigation. See page 19 of the grand jury report. Regardles, both of those police agencies are present in state college right now keeping the peace, including others. Trust me, I've been there for actual riots, they bring in officers from all of the surrounding counties.

Not true, just saw live footage. Students for the most part are acting civil.

Taking it to the street is the right of every American. Freedom of Assembly, Freedom of Speech. I don't like the occupy wall street nonsense but it's their right as Americans to voice their opinion.

yep... its a damn shame the whole situation but you would think someone would have gave the police a heads up that they were gonna fire joe pa... i mean state college had a riot when bin laden was killed what did they think was gonna happen with this

 

there seems to be an awful lot of emotion regarding this story for some reason. maybe they need to air drop in beta blockers and lithium at state college

i don't understand all the fuss people need to calm down.
