They look awesome on the outside. On the inside, they're crap. They look like something out of the 90s. No leather. Not even black cloth. All light stuff. Very plain. Ever seen the inside of the Harley Davidson edition F-150? THAT is an interior!

to each his own, I'll never buy a brand new vehicle but I'll be satisfied with what I do get. Good luck in your continued search.

I don't get it. I wanted to like the Tacomas. I always liked the exterior look (best looking truck around), but the interior is crap. No leather, no frills, no dark colors. All weird and nothing nice about. How can you people worship the things? I do like the FJ Cruisers, but only the special editions that are solid color. Seriously. What idiot came up with that white roof crap?

What's so great about leather seats? Screaming hot in the summer ice cold in the winter.

Also keeps it ugly and probably makes it sell less.

    F-150s are too big.

i for one, ..do not like, nor want leather seats... don't want too many frills (that just cost money when they break over time), ...

do want a reliable vehicle that has good power/torque and versatility, ..that's why i'm looking into tacomas.

I have a close friend that has a 2010 with leather, Pro4x, the thing is loaded. and he loves my tacoma somuch he traded his in and lost 5 grand on it. bought it for 31, they gave him 26 after 5,000 miles. i just had the dealership ask me if i wanted to get into a 2012 of my truck, i paid 28,500 for mine, and i have 6,200 on it, they want to give me 27,500 for it. something to be said about resale value

My personal opinion on leather... It has it's place in luxury cars or Lincoln's/Escalades. It's a midsized truck in a moderate price range.

Also, you used to be able to get a Tundra with the 5.7 and 6 speed auto in a 2wd reg cab. Last time I saw Toyota put the V6 in a Tacoma regular cab was the first run Tacoma's (95/96) if I recall.

Either way, if it's not your cup o tea then kindly get out and stop whining.

I don't see how the Tacoma has anymore power than the Nissan unless you add the supercharger. Every experience I've had with a V6 on it's own was seriously lacking. I really hate to give up my small block V8.
