    Sorry guys, no pics just yet lol. I know I know, it's useless without pics. But my order has been placed and it shipped this morning

    1 x Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (D2S) (MiniD2SIII) = $310.00
    * *Shrouds Apollo
    * *Bulbs Morimoto 5Five 5000K D2S
    * *CCFL Angel Eyes No thanks
    * *Projectors LHD (North American Standard)
    * *Ballasts 5) Morimoto 5Five 50w
    * *Re-sealing Glue Yes please
    * *Wire Harness Relay: 9006

    I cant wait to give this a shot. I ordered some JDM headlight housings off of eBay so my truck wouldn't be down. My truck is an 09 and has the "tinted" headlights. Some people say they are rare? Idk

    Anyway, this will be my build thread! I hope all of it comes in by Saturday! I want to see how they turn out

    I will. Why go with the H1 over the D2S? Could you elaborate on the difference between the two? And I'm not sure I understand the 9006 relay. I know 9006 is a bulb size/number, so does this mean I will be using a 9006 bulb?

    Thanks man! I would of taken a picture of the rear seat as well, but my golf clubs are laying on it lol. I'll get better pics of them for ya tomorrow. They weren't cheap by no means. But they were made specifically fir this truck and these style seats also. Waterproof and fade proof supposedly lol

    Hey, where are you from in LA? I'm guessing by the AF tag that its Barksdale... The main reason I ask is because I will be purchasing the same retro kit as you as soon as the group buy fills up and it would be awesome to have some local advice if I run into any issues

    Oh ok. I've passed through Monroe many times on my way to GA and have paid the local state troopers there some money as well.

    the mini H1 is substantially better in every catagory than the d2s mini.

    beam width for starters just and i mean just shy of the fx-r whis is wider than the tl so about equal to the tl in width uniform light distribution from cut off to the ground. they are much more colorful when modded properly the d2s mini has almost zero color imo. the color flicker is awesome on the H1 as well and the intensity is also considerably better with the low beam.

    Alright, so do you think I could contact TRS and ship them back when I get them for some mini h1s? I knew the FX-Rs would be more involved as far as aiming inside the bowl before sealing. But I made a common mistake thinking the little bit more expensive ones were better

    here is a link for you jvx driver has spent a lot of time setting up for these shots and this is the best representation of what each projector is capable of imo no other site or picture can match his comparisons.

    btw the mini H1 when modded properly can and will have a good deal more color in the cut off with out losing sharpness. they are nice man really nice the d2s is no where near them imo.

    the tl is one of the nicest bi-xenons availible next to the fx-r and the Ls 460

    edit here is the link to jvx drivers comparo enjoy spending time looking at his i sure did :)

    Yea that's a good bit of difference! I checked back on TRS, with the H1s you can only get 35w ballasts. (I don't have experience with "real" hids and projectors) not sure if 50w will make much more of a difference. So if TRS would let me send mine back and get a h1 kit I'll try that.

    I can't believe that the cheaper projectors are better than the others. I know it's only $20 difference but still

    Well I was bored today, mad my other lights haven't arrived yet!!!! Since I was impatient I ordered my SMDs to do my cluster, radio, and steering wheel controls in white. Going to leave the needles and some things amber to match the HVAC

    Well they came in. Idk what the deal is, but either my oven is either really really freaking hot or the plastic on these JDM headlights aren't the same as anyone elses ever

    Set to 300, turned it off. Placed cardboard and headlight facing up. Smoke alarm went off, cardboard is smoking, grey plastic was trying to melt, I think I'm going to try at 200 and if that don't work I'll just use my OEM ones. Thus is very very aggravating. This is the only part of the process that had me worried before I ever ordered anything
