 morning all. Beautiful day here... too bad I'll be stuck inside most of it :(.

Called the garage door repair guy and he said the issue I"m having with mine is quite common. He said something needs adjusting on it. I'M not messing with it - my luck I'll turn it the wrong way and have more issues. There are things I will do and other's I'd rather pay someone who knows what they are doing.

Now this does not sound lke you. Just make one adjustment at a time and reset if that does not fix the problem.

Nope... I've heard that before :anonymous: Morning Ken.

Morning Tom. What new projects you starting now? :D

 I"ve never messed with a garage door opener before and didn't have a clue where this adjustment screw was. He said the screw was adjusted all the way in - there was no place else to go. Now if I had to replace the opener

 morning Carl. Good luck with that.

    Morning Jim.

Morning Susan. I just finished the slate on the side of the house project yesterday. Wife likes it.

Getting ready to take down the plastic Suncast shed today and take it to my sisters beach house tomorrow. Called my other sister last night, she lives close by the beach house, and offered to take her to lunch. She already had a lunch date with the girls she pals around with. :(

Next week I will be installing two electrical circuits, one for the livingroom audio/video center and one for outside holiday lights. I may also start to build a trash can/firewood storage center on the side of the house.

usually I can fix things, if I have a how to book or good verbal directions from my one buddy. if I were on my own, I'd be lost on most things, but somehow manage to get by. ! oh; just connected a new mouse on computer. stupid cat chewed wire. next time, wireless.

Tom "is" the energizer bunny...I lost a good head of steam when I had shoulder surgery and now I find it hard to get the boiler back up to temperature...Wish I could help you out with a handy guy, but all the ones I know are either taken or I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy...I would help you out if I was closer, but it would be a long commute for me...Ken

Whelp the shed is loaded and ready to go. Not to pretty but it is secure. The plan is to work out tomorrow morning then leave from the gym to my sisters beach house. This will give me a chance to make sure all tie down straps are secure before hitting the freeway. Hope the police do not stop me. I have to cross the bay bridge.
