question about suspension

what should i use to make my rear suspension stiffer. As you can see in this pic with trailer and my gear in the bed it is riding slanted.. different shocks would help that or just because it is quite a bit of weight? Shocks any suggestions. current PRO-COMP ES6000

 

if you haul regularly, try take a look at airbags or switch out your current leaf pack for one meant for hauling, like the all-pro expo leafs

 

nice i just checked out the website has a newer leaf spring setup called the all pro expedition leaf springs.. they are pretty sick. better than what i have with a AAL that should definately help me out thanks man.

 

What is the tongue weight with it set up like you have in that picture? It looks from this angle like most of the weight is in front of the trailer axles.

 

The rear shocks do not support weight so changing them out will not help your situation.

Do you want lift? If so, look at those All-Pro leafs or the Dakars made by OME. If not, air bags would be a good solution if you tow frequently.

 

the entire trailer was fully loaded before pic was taken... i have the couches and love seat in front... most of weight in pic was on the tongue.

Is this going to work with a 3 leaf stock setup? Is it better than adding a leaf or replacing them?

They'll work, but if your leaf pack is shot it won't help your every day ride. Also, if your leaf pack is worn out, an AAL is more of a band aid. It'll help for a while but eventually it too will flatten out. If you haul or tow frequently I would consider air bags.

I'm running airbags from Firestone, absolutely thrilled with em, pump em up for what ever load i'm running and air em down when i'm done, not too $$, easy to put in (took me about an hour ), don't need to replace the leafs, in fact, this makes everything last much longer.
