Battlefield 3 vs Call of Duty mw3

anyone got any tips for not sucking at the multiplayer.
I can unload a damn full clip on a guy, and the bullets just go around or through him, then he just picks me off, sometimes from across the map.
I don't even try using the assault strike package, cause I can't get more then 1 or two kills in a row.

 

unlock type 95. and slowly creep around, three round bursts is soo effective, the m16 sucks IMO but similar deal. dont run around like a fool ahaha.

 

Yea when I start getting killed a lot, I just slow it down. ADS around every corner and have perks that support it.

 

Why does bf3 make my whole console freeze? (ps3)

 

It uses decidedly more raw CPU power than BF2 did. Perhaps your console runs hot? Is it enclosed in an entertainment center? Try to give it some more breathing room.

Also, try running the "fan test" on the PS3. It helps clean out the dust that collects inside the PS3 over time:

like they said, DONT run around. friend of mine taught me that, only run if you HAVE to, otherwise just walk of crouch and creep (to make a yourself a smaller target). ADS around corners, doorways, etc. learn high traffic areas on the maps, they all have them. use the map, occasionally press start just long enough to recognize where your teammates are and your orientation on the map, wherever on the map you dont see yourself or your team mates is where the enemy is.

 

Good advice. Honestly, I dont even care about kill too much. If they happen, they happen ( although im sitting at 1.63 k/d surprisingly!) Im more of a run to an objective in conquest, cap it take the points, heal my teammates, supply ammo, etc. Im all about the good of the team!

 

I picked up my MW3 preorder finally for my stepson & I and his pops bought him BF3. So now we have both!

 

battlefield 3 sucks butt hole wiener compared to MW3.

BF3:
Maps are too big
every automatic rifle sounds exactly the same
the guns SUCK
the recoil is unbelievably unbearable (and dont give me that realistic crap, i'm playing a video game i want it realistic only to a point....any point after that i should just enlist in the marines)
i dont know what it is about the graphics but i cant see shit when i play.
and i always die from a freaking tank or helicopter bullshit
oh and the knifing is HORRIBLE, yes the animation is awesome when you take their dog tags. but its super inaccurate i feel like...
And you cant cook grenades?

AND i hate that you cant customise your loadout until you are either playing the game, like the actual match... or youre in the menus.... but you cant do it while your staging for a new game. that SUCKS. and actually modifying your weapon is so cumbersome. you have to go through like four menus just to do it.

oh and not to mention, the snipers take AT LEAST two shots two kill someone. im sorry, but if you want it to be realistic, MAKE THE WHOLE GAME REALISTIC. i guarantee, if i shoot someone point blank with a sniper rifle in the chest. i have a feeling they would die.....first try.

OH and EA sucks ass no local/split screen multiplayer? lame

i feel like they were trying TOO hard to be better than COD and they tried adding "too much good stuff" and ruined it (like the ampm commercial)

As for staying on topic. I had BF3 in my GameFly Q but after finding out i'd have to pay a $10 fee to play multi, I'll pass.

 

^^^ Yep, all the publishing houses figured out the second hand and rental market are leaving them strapped for cash (yea, right), so they came up with these unique codes you need to play online. When you buy the game, you get a code. When you sell it or get it via rental you don't have a valid code and have to buy one.

Played em both and for me MW3 hands down! It's so much damn fun! I'll try and look for the Tacoma group. Only thing about MW3, I think they could have done the campaign story mode better.
