Xtang trifold. I was in debate with the bakflip, but went with the trifold because you retain use of the tie down rails. Love it. I actually put my aluminum boat on top of the cover with every else locked up inside the bed with a pop in lock.

Extang solid-fold and backflip F1 are both awesome tonneau's. Similar prices, both pretty strong, easier to put on and remove than a full hard cover. Almost no downsides.

The F1 is a bit more low profile. Not sure which is actually stronger.

Between the Peragon and the xtang trifold or other covers that are similar in design can someone explain the pros and cons between the 2? There are so many different covers out there but I know I want something that can retract or be taken away if I ever need to carry tall stuff.

    Thanks!

This is the one I have... I love it! I had the same on my 98 as well. The best thing is the ease of install, and the fact that it folds up in 3rds, allowing you to still use the truck as a truck when necessary. Worse case, you can remove it in like 5 mins too! (I recommend getting a pop-n-lock to prevent theft.)

You need to figure out what you will be doing with your Tacoma then look for a cover that fits your needs. The Access Limited was just what I needed and it proved to be a great purchase for me.

Ya those are nice. The backflip f1 is really nice looking too though..and I think similar strength ratings.

Can anyone point out some downside of the bak rollback g2 covers? I was told that i could still use the factory tie down rails?

    Thanks
