What time is this going down? How 'technical' will this be?

I'd like to leave the san diego area around 0700. Nothing technical, just going fast. My plan is to start at the plaster plant at Plaster City and run parallel to the railroad tracks until Split Mtn. Rd., then mess around in Ocotillo Wells for a few hours and be back mid afternoon.

ok, I've never been but looking at a map Plaster City is off the I-8 and you were planning on heading north to Ocotillo Wells to run west of Superstition Mountain??

    I couldn't leave until 8 from Oceanside.
I'd love to go but I am a stock 4x4 with highway tires.
