Ok guys up for sale is a sub box and amp rack made for my truck. I gave Mr.Marv some dimensions over the phone and this is what I got. REALLY REALLY WELL BUILT as is everything that Marv makes. The box was designed for a JL Audio 10w3v3 and it comes preloaded with this sub. The amp rack pictured has a cutout to fit over the seatbelt for the center seatbelt. If anyone wants to remove their seatbelt by the way just shoot me an email and I'll give instructions. I have my cab deadened and lined with luxury liner as you can see therefore it is held in by being wedged I never actually drilled the holes to install or bolt it to the threaded inserts on the brace across the back wall. The threads are 6mm. I never actually used this sub or box. I decided to go a different direction and build a custom fiberglass box since I had someone offer to teach me for free.

The box and sub together were a little over $500 I am looking for $400 plus shipping or $430 shipped. Trying to get money for my wedding.

Shoot me any questions you may have and thanks for looking

    Matt

Do you need a diffirent radio and speakers to run this? or can you run it with stock/oem parts?

you can run it off of the oem head unit but you have to tap into the rear speaker output for the stock head unit. You can see how to do this in the thread about adding rear speakers to your reg cab. Anyway you use these speaker wires to run to an amp to give the input for the amp and will also function as the remote turn on I believe. Then you just set your crossover and level to the appropriate setting which will prob be around 70-80hz for the crossover and set the boost or level to the volume level which sounds best to you.

By the way this sub only needs 300 watts for its optimum you can give it a little more but in a reg cab you won't need to

For anyone on the fence about this, do yourself a favor and get it. I have the exact same box designed for me, and it was nearly sinful to cover it with carpet. The box looks to be made from a single piece of wood, which I've never seen anyone else come close to trying.

The reason I went with Marv in the first place is that this same box would have cost me $600 (without the sub) for a local shop, and they would have done a hack job.

Marv is also an insanely busy man. Buying this would definitely get things to you faster..

In regards to the sub, I bought JL as well. I looked locally and turned down Infinity, Soundstream, Memphis, Alpine, Pioneer, JBL, Focal, and a few others because I found this one to have the tightest sound for the right price.

If you ask nicely Coheed might do some measurements :D, but keep in mind Marv specifically designs these for the installation location. He goes so far as to ask for specific measurements of your truck. I'm not trying to dissuade you from trying, but be sure to plan it out!

Oh wow I totally spaced on the title - REG CAB. I'm just so used to looking in a double cab and things looked the same. Went ahead and edited last post.

    Hi Coheed,
Is the set-up still available? If so, I'd love to learn more...

    Kindly let me know.

    Thanks,
