Costco Coverkings $100 off for Two Rows

This makes a full set front/rear for our 2nd gen Tacos $279+local tax. For Northern Calif it came to $302. Nice neoprene and much less than Wet Okoles. AND you can return them if something goes wrong with Costco's excellent return policy.

 

Think these would be tear resistant to the occasional dog jumping on them?

 

Well, of course it all depends on how big your dog is, nails, how aggro she/he is at jumping, but for the most part, yes. But just like all neoprene material, the drawback is the fur gets entangled into it and is very difficult to remove, so I kept my dog off. The big plus, if you do get tears or don't like 'em for whatever reason, you return 'em. You know Costco, you can return just about anything.

Shoot, for $150 less than the Wet Okole's and functionally does the same thing (waterproof and protects the seats) w/o the big name brand, I'd rather keep that money in my pocket.

 

There's a lot of negative reviews at the Costco site. But u make a great point about Costco return Policy.

 

I had a set on another vehicle and found them to be very well made and snug fitting. Not sure what the negs were for but I felt them to be a good buy compared to WO's.

 

Welp, just ordered my first mod! Coverking seat covers with Blue inlay for front and rear rows. I figured while it's brand new is the time to protect the seats.

 

Dang, they're purty.

I love arriving home to boxes on the porch! An hour plus later, they're on. They were a challenge to install the front seats, back seats were a breeze. Only problem is because they're kinda thick, the back seats are now tougher to lower and raise, have to slam em back into place.

Also, I've lost the nifty little pocket on the back seat for the seatbelts, to prevent them from falling when lifting the lower seat. Oh well.

They're really dang comfy too. I'll take some more pics in the daylight this weekend with the truck. They compliment the Speedway Blue nicely I think.

Dang, that blue is sweet. I've got a couple of boxes sitting at home too. I haven't installed them yet but I got Hawaiian Black inset. It's easier to remove the seats and put them on. Only 4 bolts.

 

I like how CK blends the centers into the headrests.

I was seriously wondering about doing that but it was dark and I couldn't see under the seats well.

Oh well, a few bruised fingers and it's done, for now. May have to tweak em if they come un-velcro-ed.

 

Dam nice looking covers! Will those work on seats with air bags?

 

Yup, they are made for the airbag seats, which I have. They have a flap on each outboard side, to allow the airbag to pop.

I'm glad you like them. I guess you won't be returning them anytime soon. If your dogs jump on them, be ready to use tweezers as it seems that's the only way get the fur out. Not fun especially when my dog is shedding a lot. If she just brushes on it, her fur gets lodged in.

 

I just started installing mine. On the front covers, I can't figure out where to attach that little side strap with the hook. It only has one of these and there's no logical place to attach it that I can figure.

I'd forgotten how warm these covers can get, even with colder temps.

R u sure about only one hook? I thought there was one on each side of each seat?

Pass or driver side? Mine had two but, since I didn't remove the seat as Tacomtn later told me, I couldn't connect em both on both seats.

Basically, I reached under the seat with some pain involved and found something firm to connect the clip to.

I seriously kept worrying I might connect to the airbag line and POOF! Get knocked silly.
