I know what may have been implied.

I'm wondering if there is a "Jerry" that owns a company called "Canberg", and how that is relevant to these matters.

I ask because I had a conversation with the Jerry at Camburg recently. He told me that he's never heard of these companies and/or these spindles. He was however, very interested in who they were because apparently people have come in experiencing problems with similar products, asking for assistance.

Also, I was among the first few who were seriously interested in the group buy for these spindles. I made a number of posts (blindly, admittedly) supporting them. Probably because I wanted to convince myself just as much as anyone else that it was a good idea to buy them. I did however, go on to edit/delete a lot of those supporting arguments/justifications shortly after.

I'd prefer not to go into too much detail, but I did that because I realized I had dealt with one of the "companies" before. I didn't realize it at first because the names were different, but I dug a little deeper and found out that the same person/people are selling spacer lifts under a number of different fronts on the internet.

Basically what happened was: spacer lift kits were advertised for a certain price. I scheduled an appointment to meet with the seller because they don't keep regular business hours or have a showroom. I show up at the location and its obvious why. Anyway, I pay the guy and he gives me 1/2 the parts and tells me its another $50 for the rest. Words were exchanged, distaste was expressed and a vow was made never to deal with this haberdashery businesses again.

That's why I decided to pull out of the original group buy. I did however, continue to (quietly) follow the subsequent happenings.

Are you referring to my post?

If you are: I didn't say anything about the parts themselves. Nothing negative anyway. I'm sure some people will remember me posting in one of the original threads, actually supporting the spindles even suggesting gusseting them if necessary.

Again: If and only if you were responding to my post. This is not an attack on the spindles or Bob (as a representative of Maxtrac). I hope everything works out for those who are still interested in the spindles and for Maxtrac. If they can make nice suspensions for half of what the other guys are selling, Awesome! I'll be looking to buy some control arms soon, so I hope those are on their list.

The purpose of my post was to steer you guys clear of shady dealers and parts re-sellers. Also to let Maxtrac know how their dealers are representing themselves and their products.

That's ok. Those problems are behind me now and there's no need to call Camburg, not on my behalf anyway.

Good luck to you and anybody who's still on board for the group buy

So are all of the knuckles a little different. It sounds like you were able to fix the gap with the knuckle by giving him a new spindle. So if I were to get your spindles from Jacob would I have the same issue? I have stock rotors so rubbing shouldn't be an issue.
