    Hi,

    I just bought a '12 Tacoma Access Cab V6 4x4 last weekend. I've owned a house for 3 years and really needed a truck. I also have a trailer for my motorcycle, but never had a vehicle that could tow it. I got tired of begging friends for help when I needed a truck and broke down and bought mine.

    This is my second Toyota. I had an '86 pickup (xtra cab?). I wrecked it during Christmas break in college and bent the frame behind the passenger side A-arm. So I bought a frame from junk-yard that was on another '86 for $200 and rebuilt my truck on it in our driveway so that I could drive it 1200 miles back to college. Despite the few extra bolts I had laying around at the end, it made got me back to school. I gave it to my brother about 10 years ago and now am back in another Toyota.

    I have a motorcycle and car which I like to mod, so I'm sure I'll be modding things on the truck before I know it.

    I look forward to absorbing much of the information available here on the forums and getting acquainted with the various forum regulars.

    It's an old high school nick name that has nothing to do with music. I do enjoy "18 and life" though. That's why I add the 'e' on to the end of the name. I enjoy it when people try to convince my that I'm spelling my user name incorrectly.
