Sorry Nick, I have work otherwise I'd help ya out.

So, finally got around to doing some much neglected maintenance to my baby this weekend... cleaned the interior out (was horribad lol), washed, buffed, and waxed the exterior, threw a new fresh coat on the sliders, hit the frame and armor and such under the truck with rustoleum, finally did the rear diff fluid, driveshaft lube... all in all stuff that had to be done. Feels good to have her refreshed a bit though :)

So I got to run my truck a little in a rough wash on the way to the gun range today and was AMAZED at how well the truck absorbed the bumps and took hits with little effort. I expected a much rougher ride because of how it felt on the road and I was running 45psi in my tires. The suspension soaked up everything amazingly.

I cant wait to get my brake lines put on so I can go out and actually test it out.

I forgot, what bumps did you go with on the rear again?

Edit: nm it's in your specs. I dunno man my rear is stiff as hell in the rough unless the bed is really loaded down

Jake and I both have expeditions. On the road it is pretty rough, but today offroad it was nice. I wasnt going very fast or on to crazy of a road but I was amazed at how well they felt.

Thanks man, yea expos. If I have a ton of weight (like 500lbs) they're a lot smoother... otherwise it's a pretty rough ride haha. It's what I wanted though :p

I run the expos in backas well, they need (first gens) 300lbs to run as intended. Id imagine (as I blew a wheel bearing today) that not having weight, could damage componets as its so rough.

I run maybe 300lbs in my rear, weights. But I don't think this was enough.

Actually to blow a wheel bearing... running additional weight is what would put the stress on them... not so much a rough ride... lol

I honestly dont think my expo springs are that bad. Its not that much worse than my TSB Leafs + AAL. I am sure it will be a bit better with some weight over the back though.

I'm not saying it's bad... it's what I wanted tbh. I think my timbren's are most of my stiff rebound though... I keep meaning to take them off one day and run around the local speed bumps and see.

How close are you to hitting your bump stops just riding around. I am no where near mine.
