I recently bought a 2011 TRD Sport and was noticing that some of the TRD Sport 4x4 have a V6 and SR5 badge on the tailgait mine only has V6. Whats the diffrence or was it just done that way on some years?

Yes. You can get it without TRD, but you can't get a TRD without SR5.

SR-5= Sport Rally 5 speed (since manuals are now 6 speeds, this is outdated). All TRDs are SR-5s first... with or without the badge in back.

might sound dumb, but the trd sport w sr5 badge on tailgate doesnt mean it has a locker, correct? or do these have a rear locker? just the trim option and like said, outdated on sports?

dont forget that you'll need an air source to actuate the ARB air locker. i'm using the ARB mini compressor for my front locker, 2 years of use and never a failure with it

hear ya but the offroad suspension i was used to, i would miss if i got a sport i think. i test drove the sport and damn, too smooth. i was like, sure im driving a truck. not that my offroad was bumpy, but you could tell the difference.

i need to read up on how well the sports take offroad with a locker added, compared to the offroads.

the rear end on the sport model will be considered stronger since the sport model incorporates a 8.4" ring and pinion gear set..compared to the off road rear which has an 8" ring and pinion set..

are you really that worried about any difference in ride quality between the 2 models knowing that you will most likely upgrade the suspension..everyone does it lol:D
