Roommate had a title fight at 135. Lost by a triangle choke. He was in it for over 2 mins, tapped in the last 10 seconds of the round

How wide a tire and rim did you go with? Those look badass but wider then I have seen others who have gone with 35"s. I wonder if that is why it rubs? Could you also crank the front up a bit more and add some rear lift to get clearance?

    Looks sweet!

    Hello,

I just made it out to Colorado.. I have been on this site for awhile and I am pretty much sold on getting duratracs for my stock 09 offroad dbl cab... is that still a great choice? It seems to be.

Also, octane in the gas is 86.. What is the best choice for my truck?

    Thanks again....

Welcome! I run Duratracs on mine and they are great. Mine came with 40k tread warranty and aren't too noisy on the road unless there's rain, then it's just a tad bit.
You'll hear many opinions on fuel but I won put "crap fuel" ie-thrifty crap in my rig. I stick with 89 from Shell. Post up pix when u can

    welcome to colorado
The reason we have 85 and 86 octane here is due to the density altitude being much higher that when you were in Detroit at very close to sea level. What that means is that the air molecules are less dense in say denver than detroit due to our elevation. Now Octane is to mosty to keep the cylnder from detonation so in essence it makes the fuel burn a littler slower and more evenly. When you came to denver your truck went from an enviroment that was rich with air to one that is much much thinner , so the air/fuel mixture here is much more hesitant to ignite. So octane can actually hurt the performance of your vehicle if you have too much of it in your gas for the environment you are in and cause nasty carbon built up in the heads. This is why the premium in sea level states is 93 or more and the most we get around here is 91. 85 octane in denver is the equivalent of 87 at lower elevation. You can look all this up and confirm it just make sure to use reputable sources. Most of this comes from my time as a commercial pilot. Fuel is VERY important and we study these things in ground school. Now all this said you must also factor your driving style. If you are going to be roaring around at wide open throttle and trying to pull max load all the time then i would say step it up an octane notch cause you are going to be putting a lot of extra heat into that cylinder wall and head and could get detonation as a result.
I do agree with sean though about using a good station. I think that is going to be more important to our trucks than octane. There is a lot of maint on a filling station and many owners scrimp to try to get a couple extra buck by doing things like letting their water filters go for an extra month or no changing the particulate filters on time. This will destroy a motor and good luck getting the jerkoffs to pay for it.
