    Hi T.W.,

I just installed my 285 75's 16 firestone destination m/t's on my taco that has a 3 inch lift, tsb aal in the rear, and full toytec coils in the front. I have stock uca's and i was wondering do i need aftermarket uca's or do i need wheel spacers. They rub when slight turning and are too close for comfort to the uca's. I was looking at spidertraxx but seems to be out of stock on their website, and is there any other sites that have them in stock, so i can order them asap? i don't want to tear up my new tires, please help:confused:

Stick with the SpiderTrax - just wait for them to come in. I ran 285s on stock wheels for a few months before I finally got the spacers. The spacers will help you clear the UCAs, but replacing the UCAs with something like Total Chaos or Camburg will help you get the alignment (after 3" of lift) to spec. UCAs may provide a touch more clearance than the stock ones, but that isn't the reason you should buy them.

    Does this help?

I don't know if you need them or not, but if you do, I have done much research and found this brand to be of the highest quality due to the materials they use and how very well they're made as seen in hand.

Somewhat, did you run with the stock wheels and 285's with the stock uca? or did you have the total chaos in before you put on the 285's? i cant even fit a finger between the uca and the tires. mainly rubs when i turn left a little, but when i turn right it rubs when im at full lock which is normal with the bigger tires. just dont know if its safe if the uca will cut into the tire or not. How long did you wait for your wheel spacers? and did you order right from spidertraxx? oh yeah my coworkers saw your taco, which are mostly ford guys, and said your rig is bad ass.

Thank your coworkers for me! :)

Yeah, I installed the TC UCAs at the same time as the tires, so you may be right...

Yeah I ordered them directly from Spidertrax. They were out of stock for a few weeks, but when I was finally ready to order them, they were in stock! :)

Hey, didn't notice that you were here in the cities...

I don't know of anything close yet, but there is a toyota 4wd club - www.mntoyx4.com. Also, there's the mn4wda.com. There is an offroad park up in Gilbery (near Ely).

I hear there is quite a bit over in Wisconsin, but not much here...
