im alive. i got stuck in a small creek today. i was wondering if i could make it threw it (its a big short cut) so i romped through it pretty easy the first time. then trying to get back through my front end kinda sorta sunk and my rear suspension maxed out. my golden diff button failed me again...

my buddys 09 ram 1500 on 35" nittos pulled me out with out a hic-up. then we started wondering if his truck could make it through it. so we kept on callin him a pussy til he finally tried it...and had the same result as my second attempt. my truck couldnt pull him out, we tried just about every way to get it out with my truck but got no where. next we got out my hi lift. we attached one towstrap to a telephone pole as an achor point and the other end to the Hi lift, then another from the hi lift to the stuck dodge. used the hi lift as a come along sorta. we had just about pulled the truck out when it started gettin really hard to crank the hi lift. we were in the process of reading the weight rating of it when the hook sort of thing at the top bent and pulled out of place (1/2" cast iron!!) and now my hi lifts componets just seem really lose, im afraid to use it again.

ended up calling my buddy with a f250 diesel on 35"s to come pull him out. that 7.3l made sort work of it.

and in other bad news the limbs on my browning snapped

The fact that people use the terms "shock" and "strut" interchangeably on this forum drives me crazy :goingcrazy:
