Hey Lyndall, I bet you are up due to a new baby. I am giving my boy breakfast as I type this.

Actually, I'm up because my daughter can't sleep past 6am. The boy is sleeping now. He is breastfeeding, so my baby duties at night are minimal.

Two Texans and a creeper... not a bad roll call.

So, does anyone else have a "do or die" honey-do list before Thanksgiving? I was given a list today that I was told was not optionable.

    1) Mow and weedeat the front and back yard.
    2) Repair/repaint backyard fire pit
    3) Get all my guns off the dining room table
    4) Clean out garage
    5) Clean off back porch

I really don't feel like doing any of this... much less my homework.

How did #1 get on the list? That's a standard chore that shouldn't get escalated to honey do list status.

I haven't been handed my list yet, probably since we aren't hosting. My Christmas list should be published shortly after Thanksgiving though.

#1 got on the list because the last time I tried to mow the yard I was out of gas. I strapped the gas can to the bike and came home a couple hours later. Apparantly I got lost... :D

You are right; creeper was completly wrong for a fellow Jarhead. Besides, I should be happy there are mods here and they aren't after me! Maybe I'm slacking...

I wish we had a nice rock fireplace. For now I'm just using a steel ring up on angle iron; but it needs a few repairs and some paint before we use it again. As for the guns; yeah, I'm doing some cleaning on the ones that don't see a lot of daylight. I try to get them out once a season and hit them with a scuz brush and oil.

That pic is a win. So who wants to do the rest of my honey-do list? I can't believe I forgot why I hate mowing the yard.

Sad to say, but I'm pretty suprised they stood behind it like that. Glad they didn't try to bend you over the barrel with it.

Are you looking for something to hang on the wall or something to put in the freezer?
