Whos got the most miles on ANY vehicle

There was a guy here in Maine that had over a million miles on a Honda Civic they held a parade marching bands the whole bit and Honda gave him a new car! I think it even made national news pretty funny. My best was an 80 SR5 long bed pickup had 385K on it when I gave it away only things I did to it was a radiator and a clutch but I was afraid it was going to brake in half. Driving a Jetta TDI with 220K and a 2011 Taco with just over 10K.

 

Wow new car just for having a million miles............... i better drive the shit out of our taco!

Nope just a regular salesman 50ish drove a LOT!! I think he sold auto parts to dealers the parade was really pretty good I think his wife planed it I never checked but I'll bet there is a U tube.

 

Those things never die. We had a 1978 240D that had 750,000+ km on it when we sold it in 1994, and I knew they guy who bought it was driving it for many years after that. Unfortunately I don't have contact with him anymore to get an update. Most of those miles were put on bad gravel roads between our ranch and the town where I grew up.

 

yeah thats the unfortunate part of living in snow, rust.

here in az, theres surface rust, but thats it. some of my bugs primer has been gone for years.

 

Yeah over here we have sea mist, since were surrounded my ocean we get a lot of sea mist especially living by the shore line
