    Go to "jerry-can.com" you will see the styles discussed, which ones to buy as well as avoid and why as well as sources. Just as in anything else, you get what you pay for. For a good new jerry can, expect to pay $40. Anything much cheaper is probably Chinese import junk and will leak quickly.

    Though Harbor Freight is an American company, their products are largely cheap imports(Chinese).
