what is your guys opinion on Lucic's hit on Miller?

I don't think it was out of line because of how far Miller was out of the crease

well if it was on my goalie id be pissed but hell he came out and stood his ground ...so it wasnt in the crease.......

 

Yea the Sabres didn't do shit... I agree that it may not have been necessary but Miller didn't protect himself. Hell if Tim Thomas would have been hit, he would have protected himself and or the team would seek revenge against the player that gave the hit.

Tim Thomas would have hit right back.

 

Lucic skates in a straight line, Miller skates into Lucic's path. Miller even tries to put his shoulder into Lucic.
Lucic probably could have avoided Miller, but Miller doesn't need to be out by the faceoff dot either.
The lack of response from the sabres was pathetic.

 

I thought it was funny that Miller called Lucic a "Gutless piece of shit" after game

 

I'm sure you will find out how Thomas handles a hit like that the next time the Bruins play the Sabres

Ya , that's an interesting concept . Touch the goalie in the crease , get a penalty .

Goalie in the crease can flatten a player outside the crease with no call .

My point was , that the crease and the rules are there to protect the goalie from contact , but from inside the crease the goalie can initiate a hit on a player outside the crease , yet not the other way around .
