Okay so I bought my Taco a couple of months ago and I wanted to do a couple of things first of which is to get rid of the bench seat any suggestions on how and where to get these seats? Also, I went to go and get some quotes for some new rims and guy there said something about putting something on my front suspension to even my truck out WTH is this guy talking about!?!? Thanks for any help!
Oh by the way I have a 2001 Taco Prerunner so it sits a little high.

well if you want to get rid of the bench seat and get bucket seats, the cheapest ive seen some bucket seats, just some good looking, not to bad is at o'reaillys. i think they sell some for less then 200 dollars. and as for the rims, idk what he is trying to say... if you want to get oversized tires you will need to get a lift, but if you just wants some rims and tires that will fit how it sits rightnow you will be fine. you can also get spacers so that the rims can stick out and have more room to turn if you get wide tires.

It's your first post..... up in the blue bar towards the left is a Seach feature.

Try that first - you'll find tons & tons of answers to your questions.

I commend you for finding this forum and at not falling to the rath of 'the guy at the garage' - but take it a little further. You're not the first person to ask those questions.

    Good Luck!

    Howdy.

    1. Try an auto recycler/junkyard in your area.

    2. Even out? Not sure. Front to back (Bro lean front high), or side-to-side (Taco lean)?

Welcome to TW from San Antonio,

What he is talking about is getting 5100 shocks for the front to level the truck out.

Tha sounds like standard factory rake. When you stick weight in the bed, the truck will look level rather than look nose-high. Like Blackshirts said, 5100s are designed primarily for leveling the front with the back.
