Cool, I have the Velineon too. Good to know it will scream like that once I go lipo :D.

Not sure if I want 2s or 3s, though.

Everytime I see these things I wanna get a new one ... In my younger years I started out with a Tamiya Striker and then graduated to a "real" car, a Team Losi JR-X2 (complete with the 5-link rear suspension) when they first came out because I got tired of seeing Associated RC-10's and Ultima Pro's at the race tracks (lapping me)... Looks fun as hell but I'm definitely way behind the times with the LiPo stuff and brushless motors (I'm sure it beats cutting commutators though).

Yeah, I know the deal about lipo's. I use to run 2s in my E-Firestorm and my old Slash. I wanna jump up to 3s, but everyone keeps telling me my Slash will be uncontrollable with 11.1v, but after seeing yours, I think I might pull the trigger

Picked this bad boy up today. Team Associated SC10. 2WD with a 17T motor. Gonna convert it to brushless and make some other upgrades after I can actually drive the thing. (need to find a taco body!)

There are no Toyota bodies due to Toyota being stingy with the licensing. The closest I have found is the Losi XXX-SCT body.

if you want a nice body for a SC truck you need to look at Proline's FloTek body

I don't plan on racing it really. I just want something that looks cool and can take a beating. Thinking about buying a clear one and coating it with bed liner...

You bought the wrong truck if you just want a basher. SC10's are more of a racer. They're not all that durable when compared to other SC trucks.

Figured this would be the place to ask.

I'm buying my dad a model for x-mas that looks exactly like his FJ. I was wondering if there is a place to have tiny stickers made. He has a sticker on his window that it would look so awesome if I could add it to the model

From what I could tell that's not the case? :not sure:
My truck was cheaper than the others and handles pretty well. I find myself wanting more power already, though.
    But, I'm just getting started.

I wasn't trying to say anything bad. They're an awesome truck, just not a basher.
