Pictures from the North Alabama 11-12-11 Mod Meet and Mud. Turned out to be not so much mud, but it was fun! We all got to do some hill climbing and everyone who drove it got to the top. Best run goes to DavTopGun in his 1 wheel wonder! Easiest went to Kyle.

As dry as it was, we decided to see where the trial around the lake went. I think we all need to schedule a wheelin party for tomorrow (not the driving kind). Free pin stripes for everyone! Needless to say, ended up in a big long wash. 3 of us backed out, 1 got turned around and the 2 fearless guys cut back around. One didn't make it without a little help.

So without further ado, here is the attendies (minus the bums and GaryRed).

Anyone else with pic's, upload here. And the video!

My wife and I had a blast guys! The drive there and back was a little rough, but it was well worth it! It was nice meeting you all. I hope we get the opportunity to make the next run!

Oh, and maybe the wife will let me get a locker now. I was buttering her up the whole time! I believe this was the first real time she felt a real need for the 'oh shit' handle. She said her favorite part was the crazy hillclimb! :D

Where is this spot? Out here we go to a place called the slab. But that's a lot more then 15 min from you. I didnt know there were any places to wheel around VH.

Its some powerline trails by bessemer on lakeshore rd.

If your on lakeshore, just before you get to bessemer there are powerline trails on both sides of the road.

It is some pretty good area, we could probably wheel for about 2 hours before we ran out of stuff to do. I have some pictures and video I will try to find and ill post them after school.

I've driven a lot of 4x4's in my day, and I was damn impressed how easily my prerunner slipped right through the mud. I was even amazed that I took it up that crazy hill you see everyone climbing. It took a couple runs to get up it, just needed more skinny pedel. To bad the camera was shooting the stuck jeep while I was doing it.

I sure hope to make the next one. I'd love to see a locked prerunner in action on some of those hills. (Preferably without the hitch) :D

Yeah, dude, I'm sure those tires you have weren't hurting. Tires can make a big difference in traction, for sure...

That's very true! There's no way that would have happened on the near slick bfg rugged fails I had on there before.
